Overview
The cover photographs on the Department of Surgery booklet (screens 1 and 2) immediately communicate the expertise of surgeons at the VCU Medical Center. Subsequent images illustrate this idea as well, whether reflecting a surgeon performing the latest laparoscopic technique (screen 3) or a surgeon consulting with his residents (screen 4). Our photographer shot many of the photos during live surgeries (screen 5) because the audience of primary care physicians would easily recognize techniques and equipment used.
