Overview
We worked with the Office of the President to develop a publication to pay tribute to President Eugene P. Trani and his 19 years of service as the university’s fourth president. The 32-page, 8.5" x 11" booklet incorporated a mix of four-color and duotone photos to juxtapose the past and present. The story of Dr. Trani’s legacy was told through 11 major themes, from economic impact and community engagement to research and academics to student life and international connections. Design elements included the use of classic typography, a warm color palette of earth tones, charts and graphs, as well as a university-wide map highlighting the major capital construction projects completed during Dr. Trani’s tenure. FSC-certified paper and printer were used, underscoring the university’s commitment to sustainability.
