Overview
The goals of the Office of University Advancement website include showcasing the success of the Campaign for VCU and providing a place for the university donors, friends, alumni, students and others to learn about giving opportunities and how they can make a difference.
The home page uses flash animation to introduce the many faces of advancement, and includes links to spotlight articles along with feeds from a staff-maintained news blog and university calendar feed (screen 1). The sublevel pages continue to emphasize the spotlights (screen 2), linking directly to the individual articles (screen 3). A staff intranet provides a central location for advancement faculty and staff throughout the university to find up-to-date forms and policies. The intranet includes secure reporting capabilities as well.
